Diana Manjarres, PMHNP-BC, at Just Breathe Wellness and Healing Center in Kennesaw, Georgia, focuses on helping clients reach their highest potential. She combines a holistic approach with personalized, client-centered care, ensuring each person feels seen and heard.
Diana attended Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, where she graduated with honors and was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following her passion for mental health, she graduated from the psychiatric nurse practitioner program at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Her post-graduate training included an intensive practicum at Mental Health Associates, one of Georgia’s high-volume outpatient behavioral health care providers in Macon, Georgia.
With extensive experience as a critical care nurse at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, Georgia, Diana stayed bedside throughout the COVID-19 pandemic despite finishing her psychiatry training.
During this time, she noticed that patients with a history of mental illness were easily dismissed due to the general lack of knowledge about psychiatric conditions. Since then, she has been a dedicated advocate for people with mental health disorders.
While she prescribes medication, she believes they’re only 30% of the solution. Medicine eases symptoms but doesn’t teach coping mechanisms for managing feelings or life skills, which pave the way to long-lasting success.
She hopes to help each person pause and just breathe again so they can start truly living. Diana is fluent in Spanish and a compassionate mental health professional, welcoming new and current patients in Kennesaw, Georgia.
